YOU KNOW THIS REALLY SUCKS.....I MEAN WHEN YOU BUY SOMETHING AND THINK ITS ONE THING AND IT TURNS OUT TO BE ANOTHER....I mean i do quite a bit of research on things before i buy them especially delicate hard to maintain pieces such as SPS coras and the LFS don't even know what they are...

See i was doing some reading and researching earlier and i though the same thing i thought it was a montipora...but i was taking the LFS at its word but i thought that most acroporas were more bushy and pointy than this one but he i still thought it looked cool.....i also read that montiporas...

thanks wamp......well the first on that told me that was the new guy Dave at WOP here in town then the guy at the Aquarium Shop mentioned that having soft corals in the tank to can inhibit growth....i donno who to listen to....but the guy at WOP said that softies screw up you water and will kill...

That looks very similar to mine.....like i said it doesn't have the sharp points on it like most acros....and the tank it was in at the LFS had at least a 175w MH on it an it was like a 29g or so....and i donno how long he had them exactly but no more than 2 weeks.....i will have pick up soon...

Hi, I just recently perchaced a small acropora frag. It seems to be doing well and the polyps are expaded all day and it seems to be over all healty! :D Now, my first question is that it has white tips on it and i have been told by the shop i bought it from that that is where it is...

it says right on there site that they do......but though shipment there will me more die off.....so its is not a bad idea to cure it......it is okay IMO to just add it to the display though......looks like a cool site....we need to see more of that type of product being sold!

Hey LouNY if you want to gain better control of your air supply you could take the original air valve assembly off and put a plastic air valve in its place....it only costs like a dallar for two of these valves and they really do help you gain control.....just a thought.....might want to give it...

Phillips makes a 10000K actinic is that what you are saying....i have never seen these...where did you get it and how much did it cost.....and how is it a 10000K actinic.....i though 10000k was super daylight?
