So I can use iodide to up the level of iodine for the corals that need iodine supplement?

Can some one tell me is there a difference between iodine and iodide. In a catalog KENT advertised a product as iodine but on the bottle it said iodide. Is it a typo or what?

I got three polyps Mushroom Ricordea. Blue, Orange and maybe green. Can I mount them on the same rock or will they crowd each other?
