if you have other fish in the tank, they can get it no problem. even if u take the fish out, and then add a new fish, they can get it.
now your tank must be fishless for 6 weeks. you must hypo your tang/any other fish.
do the reeflux 12k 250w have any yellow tint to them at all? im running 10ks right now and wanna get something that isnt yellow at all because i dont want to run my actinics anymore
thanks
i would turn your lights off for 3 days. it will make such a huge difference and it wouldnt hurt your corals or anything. doing this once and a while is pretty good for a tank and helps remove alot of algae.
no i dont have bubble algae. i just scraped off algae from the glass and i guess it made little balls of algae and now the tube are sucking the algae down.
rob dog... why do you get rid of them?
so its good to have them? they are kinda red so i thought they were maybe fire worms. but then they have bristles so i wasnt sure...
what about the second thing? with the ball of algae
all 3 pictures are what i believe to be common worms for some of you pros. i have no idea what type they are or if they are good or bad.
the first 2 pictures are of a worm that i am sure i have many of because i always see them. is this a bristle worm?
the second i believe is a worm but i am...
im pretty sure the new ones are ul listed. how would i be able to tell?
dawman: i use the mh/pc. like i said. its a good light and havent had any problems. the bulbs are a little yellow, but i would like to replace all of them soon and possibly the ballasts. they are good lights though...
what do you mean a plan old snail?
its is not in a shell that the snail can leave like a turbo or nass. the shell is stuck to him and its sort of pointy..
i found this guy on my rocks. sorry for the camera phone pictures. it has a hard shell kinda and it looks kinda pointy. i have see what looks like another one of these at another point. maybe its the same one though?
what is it?
the first 2 are of something i saw a different time but it is...
i have the 48" version. I havent had any problems with it yet. I am still running all the stock bulbs and i dont really like them. I think it makes my tank look a little too yellow. Other than that it is a great fixture. It doesnt really overheat my tank either as long as i blow a fan on the...
i dont think that you will loose everything in the rocks. im not sure about the coraline but i too let the amm. get high when i cycled my live rock. that was almost a year ago. to this day, i am still finding new things in my tank and i havent got any new live rock....you should be fine, just...
no i dont think it is that. it is just one single spot. maybe it is just a tiny piece of sand because it wasnt there earlier today.
like i said, there are no other spots on the fish so maybe nothing is wrong with him at all.. it would be more then one spot if it was something right? there was...
what is the lowest a fish could take and what is the highest it takes to rid a fish of ick?
and my tang now has 1 dot on his body. not on a fin or eye.
im not sure if ick is raised off of the fish or if it would be flat. the dot that i am seeing is defiantly raised off of the tangs body.
