does anyone run a phosban reactor?!?!?

you would be able to keep most softies and some lps with power compacts. you would really need MH for an anemone. maybe t5 .... you can use any light for a fish and live rock tank until you have money for pc or mh lights and then you can get coral.

and is it normal that my skimmer isnt making any foam since setting up the reactor?

im using a maxijet 600 and wondering how much should i have the ball valve open or closed? right now it is in the middle i would say and only 1" of the phosban is getting moved around.

oh and it grows really fast so if this goes quick in another week ill have another pound of it probably. the more often i harvest it, the faster it grows.

the odysea mh are great once u replace the ballast and bulbs. still cheaper then any other mh/pc combo fixture. the stock ballast only put out a little more then 1/3 of the power that they are supposed to...so that sucks...but im still keeping alot of corals with the stock ballasts and phenoix...

bottled garlic will just add flavor and not do anything to boost the immune system. you need to get a clove of garlic to do anything other then add some flavor to the food...

tomorrow when i do a water change i was wondering if it would be a good idea to take out all my chaeto and syphon out any free floating junk that might be resting on the top of my 4-5" sand bed of my fuge or should i jsut leave it alone. i have to take out probably 2 pounds of chaeto anyway and...

my toad stool coral is a little more then a week old. today and yesterday it hasnt extended ANY of its tips and today it looks almost shiney or velvety....any help? all param's 0. nitrate .5 ph 8.2 cal 460
