i have about a pound or so of LR ruble. my questions are when i take out the bio balls to put in the lr where exactly do i put the LR? does anyone have pictures of this set up? and how much rubble is needed to do this. and will it cause a spike or anything in ammonia? right now i have the rubble...

is the LR from this site good to just put in a tank? do i need to rinse it off or anything? or can i just put it right in? the tank it is going in has been set up for 2 mo. with fish in it already thanks.

tru. i had diatoms on my cc and lr but its gone for the most part now. could it have left the cc and lr and now went on to the glass? will it go away on its own? i only have 1 power head. will another one help?

all on the back walls of my tank and a little bit on the front walls is what looks like finger prints. i cant really tell what color it is. but its not really green and its not really red. it looks almost brown. what kind of algea could this be? and should i jsut rub it off with a magnet thing

i have some really encrusted live rock...really purple and nice color and shape. if i take 2 pieces of rock and rub them together above my other rock that is more white with some purple spots will it help the growth of coraline algea?
