What does an egg crate do for the tank??

I do use paper towels.

I don't mind people who smoke. I used to smoke but quit when I was bearing child. So did my husband. I dodn't mind for people to smoke just not around my kids so it realy doesn't bother me if they do but they aren't going to smoke in the house now do to the fish tank. It comes first before...

I have a cannister filter and I do a 10% water change every 3-4 weeks and change the filter at the same time. I have not had a problem yet.

And by the way it is acid reflux
