have your nitrites or nitrates gone up at all? I just finished cycling and my ammonia was at 1.0 for 4 weeks before the rest of my cycle started.

Someone told me that anything we can smell in the air can also get into the tank. Burning a cigaret allows particals into the air and they can settle into the tank.

My cleaner shrimp totaly molted again last night. This is the second time in like 2-3 weeks. I figure this is a good sign he is healthy but how often does yours molt??

I have a problem with cloudy water. I do not have any cc but I found out that smoking clouds the water. We are not smokers but I do let others smoke in my house. I began noticing that after everytime someone was smoking in that room my tank would cloud up. Maybey this could be your problem??

They put me on pepcid ac. Will my filters get any of the smoke nasty out of the tank or am I going to have to water change again??

My filters have carben in them so I just like to replace them but you can most defenetly just wash them off with water if you like they will still block particals from getting back in the tank.
