looks like a Caribbean pistol shrimp..this type of pistiol shrimp pray on other shrimps like cleaner shrimps and small fish..u might want to stay away from this one...tiger pistol shrimps are the one u want and will usually pair up nicely with a shrimp goby...

More than that it depends on what type of pistol shrimp you are wanting. A caribbean will likely eat the cleaner as they are a natural prey of the caribbean. A tiger on the other hand should be okay provided the tank is large enough and they are both well-fed. I personally would get a cleaner...

Dunno. I had a tiger pistol shrimp in my biocube and every goby I put in there ended up dying within a few weeks. Water parameters were always fine - the shrimp and snails were healthy and thriving. Every fish I put in that tank died so when I tore it down I put the tiger in my seahorse tank...

hope u have ur rocks deep in the sand touching the bottom glass...cuz the tiger pistol shrimp can really dig..and they do it all day....well at least mine does...hes a slave to my randalls goby..

I think he ment the carribean. Many people have a shrimp goby pistol shrimp combo here. The carribean arent a great choice to match up with a goby. The tiger is a great choice.
