Here in N.C. Yellow Tangs go for about $35-40.00. Flame Angels at the store I go to are always $50-55.00 depending on size. Powder Blue Tangs are around $65 but for some reason Achilles Tangs are around $150-180.00

Frozen mysis in the morning and evening, a sprinkling of pellets once or twice a day, and a 1" x 1" sheet of Nori that I keep soaked in water so that it sinks when I put it in the tank. Formula One a few times a week, and an occasional cube of Brine because everybody needs candy once in a while.

Kristin, your tank is well lit, it just appears that the light is all coming from inside your overflow. Cool effect either way. Mandy, yes that's a Naso (Lipstick) Tang. I bought it when it was 3". I hate putting bigger naso's in tanks, they need to roam free. My tank is a 180 gallon (or 98.224...

Thank you @mandy111 Yes, I love color and it kills me that I can't really go all out with corals but I love my Angels more. My Blue Face (who was hiding so I didn't get any snaps of him) was badly beaten and terrorized by my previous Queen Angel. He's recovering now but his fins are a bit chewed...

I just took a bunch of pics, inspired by Mandy. I have the equipment (Nikon's and prime lenses) but my eyesight is getting so bad it's difficult to focus anymore. Anyway, here's my batch, taken about 45 minutes ago and butchered in Camera Raw + Photoshop. Kristin, the hippo tang shot is for you...

Excellent shots! Are plate corals safe around Angels? I've got 3. My mushrooms are fine and I have a type of button polyp (I don't know the name) that they seem to leave alone. I'd love to add something like that plate coral.

No trick at all. That's a blue jaw trigger (only the males actually have a blue jaw), one of the most docile of trigger fish. Niger triggers are also cool but very shy for the first month or so.
