Hey guys My CB shrimp moulted for the first time today (scared the hell out of me I though it died). What do you guys do with the shell? Remove it? I once saw a LFS on YouTube saying leave it in there they consume parts of it to regain lost minerals.

Just saying I don't rinse my food. I defrost and put it in. I read something once which convinced me that the phosphate I add in this way across my tank is miniscule compared to the amount that's actually in the food. I only feed 1/4 to 1/2 a cube a day for 6 fish so maybethats why but...

Haha yeah I want to add more But I'm unsure how far I can go before I need to add additional equipment. My tank runs without dosing or reactors or even gfo lol. Just macro refugium, LR, skimmer and purigen. I'm feel like once I start overstocking, the system wont tolerate it.

I've literally been playing that game with my gold head sleeper goby for 2 weeks. You see he was eating prepared foods but was too scared of me and hid when I fed the tank. So I would walk slowly to the tank and freeze when he turned to look at me Finally yesterday he came out for about 2mins...

Wow 4 mandarins?? How do you produce enough pods for them? Or do they all eat prepared foods?

I have a soft coral only tank I use Reef salt. I've found this maintains my parameters and removes the need for dosing IF I water change regularly. I also believe if you spend extra money on Reef salt you'll save money on how much you need to dose your tank if you have more than a few simple...
