A sponge filter left in a mature tank for a few months will help when using a qt. The sponge is loaded with all the bacteria you need.

Hmm your using good stuff. Ok well it could have been just too much too late. It could have been the store bc obviously they sold you something with ich. This is why a qt is so important.

Info is a good thing. Now did you ever test your copper level in your qt? The thing with copper is it will kill fish aswell as ich. It just takes a lower dose to kill the ich. It has to be treated at an excact measurement to be effective yet not lethal to fish.

No need to feed the rock. Once should be ok daily for what u have

Nitrates will seldom kill fish unless there off the charts high. Stress from tank mates is most likely the cause. Do u feed anything hard to wear down her teeth?

They can vary in color lol yes nothing else for atleast a month and only then if u have no issues

Honestly its all about ammonia. You have live critters now they need to eat. That will produce waste. Waste equals ammonia. The nitrates are far less lethal then ammonia

Ah ok. The only one i went to that closed had fish 50-75% off. Hard goods aswell but the fish went fast
