Best way to keep anemone's out of Hydor Koralia

My new BTA tried to feed itself to a MaxiJet ph from which it dislodged the protective cap. I have since glued the cap in place, and the anemone has moved behind the rockwork so that I can see only a very small part of it. It has been there for 4 months now, and its clownfish isn't happy with...

100's of "eggs" coming out of live rock - HELP!!

Living rocks shoot out sperm and egg cells which is how they reproduce, they shoot out so many to ensure that the sperm and the eggs react to eachother, and eventually they turn into little babies, and then grow up to plant themselves firmly on the ground and become, well a rock. This is...

    Best option for tank cover

You might be right. I just noticed that you are adding LED fixtures. I could see how egg crate might be a problem with point light sources, as opposed to continuous tubes. Either way, good luck, and welcome to the site.

How far gone we are from what our nations forefathers and founders taught us.  Did you guys know that the majority of our founders did not follow the idea of a separation of church and state? Although this is what is being taught in universities around the country today. And that the teachings...

I fully agree. Carbon cannot be used to establish dates "millions and millions of years ago", and nobody in the field tries to do so. And...the upper atmosphere is not in the biosphere, so there is no issue with biological uptake at those altitudes. How about at sea level where the ration of...

No, it won't matter. Part of the process is to check the ratio of radioactive carbon 14 to non-radioactive carbon 12. So, even if there is more carbon in the atmosphere, the ratio is the same.

Then why give an "A" if they didnt truly learn anything? My course policy defines the grading scheme based on exam performance, and testing thinking skills is extraordinarily difficult to do in a non-science course.
