    You can try a product like Purple up; there are hobbyists that swear by it. Also remember to get the colors green, pink, white, purple, and red you will need rock with that color coralline on it and scrape the spores IMO

    As long as it is confined to your sump and not overtaking your rubble rock I would leave it

    In as much as you dont have a nitrate issue I am a big believer in adding every drop of water to a system as possible, with that in mind you are IMO better served not adding the sand and loosing water to displacement

    Bubble coral is photosynthetic but they will accept spot feeding and do not position them in strong current. You lighting should be ok they can be aggressive so leave enough space between other corals

    Simply put with your rock not being submerged you are creating a trickle filter. The advantage being that the bacteria reasonable for nitrification is dependent on oxygen and in a trickle filter with the rock not being submerged there is of course an abundance of oxygen.
