Agreed.I just don't get the small tank and tangs mentality. There beautiful fish, that you can mix. You just need an appropriate sized tank. I have 3 tangs together w no issues of aggression. The most aggressive fish I have is my dwarf angel which for some reason does not like my trigger lol...

Good point. I don't want this to seem like you shouldn't get a tang. You just have to get a long enough tank to keep them healthy. My qt is a 29, and I don't like putting them in that. Yet you still have to qt your fish, so in the very short term its pro's out way the con's

A 2" fish isn't going to stay 2" very long. Idk whats so hard to look at adult size as opposed to buying size.Granted different sites do offer different min tank size. I've seen 55-125 for a naso at different places. However look at the adult size and no way is a 55 even close

What other equipment. Filter, heater, lights, ect. what u listed no not for $300. Fish wise, I wouldn't try another clown, chromis are iffy. Generally you wind up w one. I would suggest a royal gramma, pygmy hawk, depending on size of clown , dwarf lion

Kole is prob one of the few. Certain bristle tooth tangs are possible to. However bigger is always better

Tank is a bit small for a large tang. They need 6ft min. Its also difficult for large fish to adapt to aquarium life so that combined w a smaller tank could have been too much stress. Also they need a more alage based diet. Spirulina brine, hikari marine alage, nori sheets, ect
