Well first what size tank do you have? You'd probably have better luck if you get them on the bigger side especially with the hippo. It will also help if you introduce them with the lights off or right before you feed the tank.

Are there fish in your tank right now? If not then I wouldn't worry about it. If you do then you could put it all in a big trash bin or buckets and QT them for a few weeks.

If you have a sump just put your tang in there for a week move your rocks around and you'll be fine

I think it depends on the quality of the lfs around you and where your getting your online fish.

You could get two Chinese box's for about the same price as the orbit lights and there capable of growing a wider range of coral

The orbits are ok if your tank is shallow and your only doing low to medium light corals. What are the dimensions of your tank?
