If your nitrates are almost 0 then I wouldn't worry about them. What about your other test ammonia, nitrite, ph,....

I'm just saying I don't think it takes 3 hours to acclimate a fish I've never done anything but float and dump. And like I said when a fish is shipped the ammonia builds up but since it's in a bag the ph drops making it less toxic but as soon as you open the bag to drip acclimate the ph spikes...

I think when you buy online fish a faster acclamation time is better since when you open the bag the ph rises and the ammonia becomes toxic so I always just float the bag and throw them in. Also it seems you were trying to add way to many fish at one time

I think I'm gonna run the skimmer along with an aquaclear 110 with macros in it and move the canister to my reef tank in place of the 110.

Get a red tail trigger they're pretty much one of the most reef safe triggers

If you want a yellow and hippo tang just get them big and they should be fine

But he got it from his lfs so you can still get undesirable things even if you can see what your buying. I'd love to come to your lfs then cause if they have fish that aren't online they must have some pretty exotic stuff
