    I've breed bettas before, did for quite awhile... I would lower the water abit because once the eggs are laid they tend to drop even if the nest is perfect... the lower the water the easier it is for the male to take care of the eggs and babies because they do drop from the nest and he chases...

    Drop the cube in the net while its in the tank... it melts and the fish are used to seeing the net in the tank. Makes it easier to catch them sometimes too since they learn that the net brings food...

    The way I feed my fish frozen food is by floating the frozen cube in a net and after it melts I let a little float out at a time. This way the fish learn to not be afraid of the net. Usually when the fish see that I have the net in the water they swim right up to it. Can make catching fish...

    Frozen Mysis

    I always just put the net in the tank and float the frozen cube in it, that way the fish get used to the net being there. So everytime the fish see that the net is in the tank they usually swim up to it not knowing if I'm going to catch them or if they're going to get something to eat. :notsure:

    I've been having the same problem... Lost quite a few chromis and other fish that way... When the moon lights go on or I turn out the lights any fish that seems to hide in the rocks come out the next morning with slashes along their bodies... the slashes look like knife slashes/verticle...
