Does anyone know if the monterey stand has a center brace in the front? I cant seem to find a pic anywhere of this stand with its doors open. It will be the 48x18 size for a 75 gallon.

^^hahaha that could be problem. My tank is about 5 feet to the left of my tv. Does the unit run as cool as they claim? Im getting away from halides. Im just done with the heat issues. I got almost 6 years out of my sunpod and i think the ballasts are on its way out.

And the ATI has to be hung. Which isnt really an issue. Eh ill probably go with the ATI. I like to buy quality products that will last rather than mid range unit and have problems.

You should test the water your getting just to be sure there isnt any phosphates or nitrates and that you are getting ro water. You can never be too cautious. Maybe they need to change their filters. Turning off the lights will help with the cyano but i think the hair algae is a result of...
