    Thermostat...what's yours set at?

Ours is set at 68. Last year I was running it at 72-74 until I saw the bills. Now we just have more blankets around. There's two comforters on our bed, one is down. I still freeze. On nights my b/f works I let the dogs on the bed to keep me warm.

Pics of my new rainbow acan

They are nice but I wouldn't call them "rainbow" by any stretch. Up here we call those green. Rainbows should have many different colors and is mostly a selling point to jack up the price. Great price for all you got though. Lucky to have a friend that hooks you up.

Can you keep frogspawn and hammer next to each other

I've had two different hammers and three different frogspawns all in a 10 gallon tank touching, it was easier to keep them all together in one tank than find room for all of them separately in my larger tank and this way I didn't have to worry about any corals getting hurt. I kept my torch...

    The BEST day EVAR!

That thing is wicked! Got any pics of it's setup? My boyfriend likes monitors but I say no way. Not that we could keep the heat or humidity up in Northern MN anyways. Wow it is fat though, can it move around ok? That is one big gut. Can you get large prey around there easily? It sucks up...

OMG, I should feel so guilty.

Wow, that is an awesome deal, I paid $150 for my white one and was happy about that, red ones go for at least $400 normally. So really the first price was a pretty good one and then they just lowered it for you! I love mine but hate when I have to move it at all because it seriously grabs on...

    Assisted suicide

I got no problem with it, it's your life, why should I have a say whether or not you can kill yourself? My grandma spent months dying and days in a coma from liver cancer and she wished it would end quickly, without as much suffering as she had to go through. There wasn't any happy ending, she...

    Colorful sea rod help PLEASE

Feed whenever the polyps are out and often as you can. Problem is they require almost constant feedings to stay healthy, no one knows what exactly they eat and it's very difficult to keep water quality up and keep them fed at the same time. Bad water quality leads to them getting covered in...

    encrusting lps??

Yeah that's normal, how they grow, it's easier to grow onto the rock than build their own skeleton so they will grow faster like that.

    Pink Tube Anemone

Their sting is pretty weak compared to most nems actually although they are often stated to be vicious fish eaters. Any nem is a risk to corals, they aren't reef safe and these have quite a reach. Non-photo so they need to be fed small meaty foods every couple days.

    Carpet Anemone Requirements. Help!

Carpets are pretty difficult, really do best in stable tanks with metal halide lighting, plus they get pretty large, one would take over that size tank if it was healthy.

    Blue Angelfish a cleaner?

I've heard of juvy angels acting as cleaners.

    Zebra Moray Requirements...

Zebras usually only get two to three feet in captivity, I thought about one for my 135 but it still seems small because of how thick they are but it's doable in that size depending on rockwork, other fish and filtration. I wouldn't go under a 125 either though, maybe if it was small.

Pink thing on rocks, w/pics!! What is it?

x2 on vermatid, they are harmless filter feeders, it will throw out clear string to catch food in the water which can be annoying.
