    Banded cat shark tankmates?

I agree. Most books will tell you at least 125 for a bamboo cat. I had one in a 150 by himself and he did very well. However, I would say that the 180 would be better, cause it gives a a 24" width vs 18" of the 150. Foxface and maybe either a snowflake or a fibrated (sp?) eel would be ok, a lion...

    snowflake acting weird and nuts

Well, what I know about snowflakes is that as they get older they do change sexes, the "beak" gets more pointer and sharper. So you could have to males that are possible fighting for dominance in the tank. As far as the eel going after your triggers, is it not getting enough food? I currently...

    I'm getting a 750 gal...need ideas!

Thats a sweet deal... My LFS has 265 complete setup (Everything but the skimmer and rocks) for 3200.00 But the clean duting on a tank that size would be a bear, I am dreading the cleaning duty on my 180 that I am putting together this summer.

    Dwarf lionfish with MOST personality?

I would say the Zebra, based on experience. A good friend of mine had a fuzzy, and he didnt seem to be all that active, more a recluse until feeding time, and they he acted like he had not eaten in years. The Zebra had that I had and have seen other friends have, seem to be more fore out going...

    V.I.P Lionfish

I got a dwarf lionfish from the LFS on Friday evening. He was eating, and all seemed well, however when I returned home this evening he had joined the large aquarium in the sky. Attack of the Foxface

SFM=Snowflake Moray. The current tank that my Foxface is in has other fish tankmates and inverts, but he actually cornered the moray and kept in one corner of the tank, but was not bothering any of the other fish or inverts. Just seemed very bizzare behave for him. Normally when I am cleaning...

Could any of these fish be eating my mushrooms?

Isnt a 180 to small for a sting ray? Just based on things that I have heard other people say. I have never had a string ray before, only a bamboo shark. He was my aquatic dog as I call him, but defintly alot of fun at feeding time.

    Clownfish Courting?

I have a pair of False Percs that I have had since they were very small, they are not about the size of a "large medium." Here lately, in the tank with will both get "vertical" and the male will be rubbing against the larger female. Are they trying to breed or is this some other type of...

    Attack of the Foxface

I friend of mine gave me a SFM, as he decided having two of them in his 150 was to much work. However, my foxface would keep the SFM corned in the tank for the most part, so I places the SFM in my QT so he would not be stressed out, however has anyone ever heard of a foxface displaying this type...

    Non-Aggressive Damsels?

Not sure I would agree with you on the Yellow Tail Damsels. I had two and when I finally got rid of them, the other fish in the tank seem alot more relaxed. I have had a few people tell me that that Yellow Tails, can be more of the more agressive damsels, especially as they get bigger. I am not...

    180 Mixed Aggressive Tank

This summer/lat spring I am getting a 180 Marine Setup from my LFS. Since my 30 and 75 is a reef community tank, I have decided to make the 180 an agressive tank. But I would like ideas on a stock list.

I have decided to get a Volitian Lioinfish for my 75 gallon that I will be setting up over the weekend, however are cleaner shrimp ok in tanks with Volitans? I know inthe past the eels that I have had completely ignored the shrimp, unless he he was coming for services..

Could any of these fish be eating my mushrooms?

I would agree, your Puffers are more than likely the guilty party involved here. I love Dogface puffers, but I love my reef tank more... althougth maybe when I get my 18o this summer I can make the 75 an agressive tank... would a 75 be big enough??

    eel in a 55 gallon?

I double checked in one the Marine Fish books that I have. The book ranks fish on a scale of 1 to 5, 1 being the worst survial rate and 5 being very hardy. Ribbon Eels was ranked 1. Also, generally when you get them, they are near the end of their life cycle. The Book is Marine Fishs by Micheal...
