    Anemone substitutes for Clownfish

They'll host plastic anemones. Try to find a soft squishy one. I used to put cat toys called Squish Balls in a bare tank to keep clown fry in, they loved them.

    Ouch That Hurts

Don't feel bad, every time I mix salt a cloud of dust rises out of the bucket when I pour it in and I manage to either inhale a cloud of it up my nose, or get it in my eyes. It burns.

    Clown ate a guppy

Where I worked we raised variatus platties in salt water as feeder fish. They were fed marine fish food and vitamins. What is good to do in a warehouse situation and home may not be the same thing though. I'd dump them along with some rehydrated freeze dried food in, the combination of the 2...

Coral Beauty Angelfish in a reef

I've heard of them "picking" at corals but not of them actually doing any damage. Mine would on occasion taste a polyp but never broke the skin so to speak.

Gorilla crab pic - how to get rid of it?

I saw an aquarium ornament in the shape of the empire State Building, do you have a radio controlled plane? Lean a clear drinking glass against the rocks with a piece of shrimp in it, he'll go in but won't be able to get out.

    butterfly only tank?

Very few butterflies (as in 2 or 3 species) can be kept with other butterflies, and those can only be kept with others of their own species. The butterfly tank is possible but could only contain a group of 1 species. As far as difficulty, Heniocus, which could be kept in groups, are some times...

anyone use "cycle" to cycle tank?

I tested cycle before it was available. We found that although it got the cycling process started quicker, the overall time to fully cycle was not changed.
