I've had two that haven't made it a month. I've read they need pristine water conditions to survive. I didn't think that would be so hard in a FW tank, but apparently I was wrong.

Just saw this story on nightline. They showed clips of this man on wifeswap. To say this man is crazy would be an understatement! If they did this garbage on purpose the man needs to be arrested and fined. Or....maybe they can put him in his balloon and let it go again!

It says in the latest yahoo story, that this family has appeared on wife swap twice. I would love to see that episode! If they were on that show they are definately a cooky family.

The RO unit I get my water from is outside of my local grocery store. The display where you put the money in tells you the date of the last time it's been serviced. I haven't had a problem so far. I am going to ask for an RO unit for Christmas.

I think it also depends on which part of the country you are from. Here in Miami, we get our fish for about the same amount that SWF sells them for. Sometimes a little cheaper.
