I plan on ordering Calcium, Alk, and Mag dosing kit as well as a Salifert Calcium Test kit from Bulk Reef Supply . com They also have Ro/DI units there pretty cheap. $130 is their cheapest one. Its a 4 stage RO/DI unit 75GPD. Should I buy this one?

Your advice is much appreciated Stanlalee. I find for some reason when I test Calcium with the API tests, its always ready extremely high and when I take it in to my LFS to get it tested, it always come back lower. They test with Salifert kits. Most of the API are good and I will probably use...

The best and most natural option IMO is to buy some rock with great coraline growth, keep the rock submerged in water the whole time, and use a razor blade to scrape the coraline. This will release spores and go all over your tank. I would keep maybe one powerhead on when scraping so the spores...
