no skimmer is going to be totally silent. However my aqua c remora w/t maxijet 1200 is pretty quiet, and it is also very effective and durable.

On my 20g I have a Fluval 104. The skimmer I have is an aqua c remora w/t maxijet 1200. All my tank levels are perfect.

I have a Fluval 104 on my 20gallon. I only run media in it once every 3 weeks. The only problem with cansiter filters is that junk just builds up in them causing you nitrate levels to rise. So if you do get one make sure you clean it every week.

your pictures always amaze me murphy. Also it looks like your Phoenix 14K HQI bulbs look bluer than my 14k HQI bulbs. Are thePhoenix 14K HQI bulbs bluer than most HQI bulbs?
