    20 gal with an Anemones?!

My anemone tries to eat my flame shrimp everytime it's antennas brush against it. After almost being caught a few times my flame stays clear now. It's a gbta but I don't believe the species matters, they are oppurtunistic if it occurs

Opinions: EcoSystem Pro Series Hang on Back Wet/Dry Filter System

It's going to be a reef tank with probably 8 fish max. Nothing large. All community fish so no heavy eaters. I would probably add lots of live rock, chaeto and other macro algaes along with some miracle mud to the large refugium area then chemipure and a filter pad to the intake area. I think it...

    OMG someone help!

well your fish are probably hiding because you turned on the light when it was off for the night. Some fish get very used to our timed cycles. As for the swimming things, are they swimming onthe glass, or out in the open?

Hi, so I have two true percs in my 24 nano. I bought them both at the same time in early October. One of them is about 3/4 inch the other 1 1/4 inches or so. The first month or so they just followed each other around and didn't necesarily interact any particular way towards each other. Then the...

Opinions: EcoSystem Pro Series Hang on Back Wet/Dry Filter System

Ok as the title said I'm looking into a "EcoSystem Pro Series Hang on Back Wet/Dry Filter System" for an alternative for my new 40 gallon tank build. I was considering an intank setup similar to a giant nano, but this pretty much has everything I need, while adding an extra 6+ gallons to my...

    40 gallon tank build

Ok I'm also looking at one of these refugium, skimmer back paks. "EcoSystem Pro Series Hang on Back Wet/Dry Filter System" Does anybody know anything about these? It seems like a good idea, it adds 6 gallons to the system and a really nice place for a refugium while keeping the DT larger. I...

    40 gallon tank build

Exciting update: So one of my buddies acquired an extra stocked tank, and now has an extra 20 lbs of live rock in a bucket with a heater and filter. Which means its time to get this build started. I decided on my filtration. I'm going to make a 4"Dx18Lx17H in tank acrylic sump with 4...
