    Setting up a 5 gallon?

I could do that but buying one will be too much money to begin with. I know I can get a tank and I already have a small filter. My 24g nano has already proved its not so great design so I'd prefer not to get another

    Setting up a 5 gallon?

I've been thinking about setting up a small tank 5g or so for my dorm room this upcoming year. The dorm I have is like an apartment, private rooms and everything and its open year round so I don't have to take the tank home every break. I was wondering what do ya'll do for lighting with little...

    Upgrading lighting

I was thinking about upgrading my lighting in my JBJ nano this summer. Right now it has the regular stock bulbs in it, but they and the hood are brand new due to a little disaster a few weeks ago (thank goodness all I lost was one zoa frag). I have a montipora in there, I'm not sure what kind...

    Lfs Ng

I know the Petland in my town has a 24 hour guarantee with reciept water sample and dead fish. I'm not sure about the fish store, but they are really nice people so I think they would. I wouldn't know I've never lost a fish.

    Would this be ok?

I have a 24g nano cube with about 25 lbs LR. I have a clown(about 1 1/2") and a bicolor blenny (about 2"). Could I add a small long nose hawkfish? I know that they may eat coral, but I know the fish store will take back any fish for store credit that does not work out or my boyfriend may take...

    Are JEBO lights any good?

My boyfriend ordered some off the auction site and theyseem to be working very well. He got 240 watts for about $150 with shipping, they also came with LEDs. He is just starting out, but all his corals are filling out and he has had no problems with them.

    How about this?

I have a 24 g nano cube with about 25 lbs LR and a clown and bicolor blenny. Do you think I could add a small longnose hawkfish? I know that some will eat corals, but what are your personal experiences with them? My dad is in love with "Harold" and really wants to figure out a way to get one.

    Ahhhh, this can't be happening!

yeah i've had to because that pump has given us tons of problems, it likes to create bubbles the same place where it came apart, it doesn't feel really loose but thats the only thing I can think that did it

    Ahhhh, this can't be happening!

Last night my nano cube was being retarded (not that unusual) so I went to try to figure out what was wrong. Since it was pumping quite right and aerating liked it should we put the battery powered aerator in there too and slept on the couch since its so loud. This morning I heard really...

    Weekend Photo Feature: Crabs

BBB- be careful with that guy! I accidentally brought on ehome from the beach and when he started walking down the drive way I had to start a salt water tank. I owe a lot to him. HE grew to be about 5-6 inches across and made a snack out of several corals and snails. Keep him fed and he will...

Fish Suggestions for 40 gal reef?

My boyfriend is currently in the process of setting up a 40 g reef tank. Currently he has 3 fish in it, a royal gramma and a pair of blueyed clarkiis. What types of other fish would ya'll recommend for it? He likes Banggai Cradinals but I thought that may be to many fish in the middle height...
