Thanks Do they need a lot of light? I don't have much so where should I place it? I was planning on moving it from the zoa rock anyways since it is in the back of it. I want to be able to enjoy it!

    Coral ID

I bought a rock full of zoas about 2 months ago and when I got it it appeared to have a dead skeleton on it. Slowly it has been coming back to life and today this is a picture of it. What is it? And how should I care for it?

Need help fas please!! How to fix bubble problem and sealant

My pump has been spewing out bubbles and we found the place where air was entering. We have some sealnt from the LFS that is non toxic to fish but also says that you should wait 48 hours before exposing to water. Is this because it is toxic before it dries completely? It is out of the tank now...

guess who's going to the aquarium in atlanta

They aren't selling annual passes anymore. If yo have one food prices aren't that bad. I don't think anything is as expensive as it could be. There are definatly school kids everywhere. The field trips are not secluded. IT is actually really annoying to have kids pushing you around. I just...

I have a clown and bicolor blenny in a 24g. They both do well and I've never had any problems with them messing with anything in the tank.

    Sexy Shrimp and the LFS

ok thanks, that makes complete sense now! my fish have never offered to bother anything in the tank and like to hang out by themselves so I doubt they would bother them. I have some hermits but not many so I think I'll try them out.

    Sexy Shrimp and the LFS

When I went to the LFS yesterday I asked them if they ever got in sexy shrimp sinc eI don't think I had ever seen them there before. They said that they don't usually carry them because they don't have a place to put them. I didn't think to ask what this meant then but now I'm relly wondering...

    Alveopora coral

I had mine for a year or so and it did fine in definately less than perfect water conditions. It quickly died when I changed my tank from a 15g to a 24g. All the other corals did much better but this one only lasted a few days.

    Fragging question!

I have a lot of xenia in my tank that I want to frag and get store credit for. The only problem is that they are attached to large pieces of LR that I don't want to take out of the tank. Can I frag them without taking the rock out? Same for a leather?

guess who's going to the aquarium in atlanta

Here are some pictures from today. It was crazy in there, way too many people! The big tank that is 6.2 million gallons filters 69, 662 gallons per minute! That is if my calculations are right! The guy said that all that water is filtered every 89 minutes. IT was awesome! They have done so...

    Surface skimmer for JBJ cube?

How do the fish get caught behind it? I don't have $40 but I do have the $11 for the JBJ one. Is there are a way to modify it to prevent this from happening?

    Surface skimmer for JBJ cube?

I was at my LFS and saw that they were selling what I think they were calling surface skimmers. Anyone have one of these? Just a little piece of plastic that clips on? It looks to have cleaned up their tank well and wanted to know if they worked since they were inexpensive.
