How often should I feed a Snowflake Eel

Just a caution into the wind: too much feeding of an eel can cause liver failure. For an eel that is still in it's early years, every other day I would suggest. When It is an adult I would recommend once a week. Of course that diet changes eel to eel.

Help! What are these white spots?

Hmmph, Looks a little different than Ich, but that could just be distortion from having the shutter open longer. Usually Ich is just Tiny white spots. I am not a expert in diseases to give you an answer, sorry, I do hope some one can come in with some concrete evidence

So I happened to grab my camera when..

LMAO. Yeah, most likely, seeing as how he eats, it's like his mouth is the beginning of a black hole.

So I happened to grab my camera when..

I think it's funny because when his mouth is just open regular it's probably 1/8 that size. lol. thats the first time I have ever seen him yawn.

    Moray Fans!

When my oldest Tesselata was still a Juvenile I kept him in a reef system, once he exceeded 3 feet I put him in in his own 300g. The only reason I took him out was because he was knocking over Live Rock. Not to imply I would never have taken him out, he most definitely needed more than a 175g, I...

GSP's will often close for no reason for long periods of time. Not saying that this is your situation for sure but, it is most likely the case. It is not uncommon to have a GSP close for a month and then as fast as it closed, open. Just as a check, what is your water readings?

Hhaha, it's no problem. Do they get very large? I've seen a lot of brains that look completely different as far as shape and they were quite large.

Thank you very much for the reply. The skeleton has quite a few calacerous "teeth" if you will that protrude through the skin. Right now I have it sitting on the top of my live rock with heavy light so when I get off work I will place it in the sand and medium light. Thank you very much for...
