    New Alice In Chains

Wow this album is quite a surprise. I had assumed that with a new singer they would just write another album, just another rock album, without the inspiration for writing they had with Layne. Way better than I ever could have imagined considering the lack of Layne, but in a metaphysical sort of...

    Octo- not fish

This is the standpipe for my overflow (drilled tank). The J-pipe is fitted with an extension that is drilled with 1/8 inch holes. It acts as a rigid strainer. Don't glue it in, so you can pull it out and clean it occasionally. It is hidden behind an overflow. This is the lid. It's one solid...

Flamboyant Cuttlefish OMG this is amazing!

Other Sepia species aren't that difficult to breed given their environment is set up for them to. The mating habits of Metasepia have been documented so really I think it's just having the experience to know how to keep them alive and giving them caves and coconut shells to put their eggs in...

    Crab question

Yes I would say those are terrestrial crabs and probably won't survive long-term submerged.

What NOT to ask the hubby

..."will you share me with Dale?" I keep telling her it's a bad idea. Sucks being in love with a married woman.

    petting mantis shrimp

That is both impressive and just ridiculously careless at the same time. I have to wonder if there's something wrong with the mantis or is it actually "tame"? It didn't seem very lively. Either way, better him than me. I like being able to type and play guitar.

    Octopus Question

Current octopus tank setup: I used the back half of the glass lids to cover the back half of the top. I used window screen to cover the front half for ventilation and heat reduction. The screen is held in place with duct tape. Since this tank isn't drilled I use HOB equipment; a refugium and...
