    i personally would leave at least one pointed toward the surface. you would be suprised what accumulates on the top of your water when its not being agitated enough.

    i started saltwater when i was 13 but im old as crap now. and yeah, it gets easier once youre old enough to get a job. then you can split your money between the tank and the drugs.

    about 65-70 depending on the weather outside. probably closer to 55-60 in the winter. but of course its really gradual.
