    Can you give us a pic? Hard to say without seeing it. What color polyps does it have? I keep a few of these and if i remember correctly, they may take a while to acclimate to your water perameters and lighting scheam.

    Package comes with two single retro 96 watt ballasts with waterproof endcaps(not a hood model its retro), two 96w brand new bulbs still in boxes and two 96w lightly used bulbs. Does this answer your question? If you have more questions, please ask. thanks

I bought my used VHO this way from another guy on this board, i guess i am a trusting person. I assure you that the lights are in perfect working order. You can check out my feedback...

    $105 shipped. This is a very good deal for Custom Sealife ballasts! I guess if i can't sell them for this, i may as well just hang on to them.

    Well....now i'm on the hunt for another UV. I really should've hung on to that one.... oh well. I added another fish to my tank and now i have a slight case if ick(man i wish i still had it). I'm glad you are happy with the UV though! Bob

    Yah, i'm doing the same thing in my 38g reef. I had a 5w UV running for a few months and things were great. I sold it and now wish i didn't. I'm going to buy a different one and run it occasionally, just as a precaution. To me, the pros out weighed the cons using a UV in a reef.

    Each bulb including the waterproof endcap, measures 35-1/4" long. I have these in my wood hood over my 38g reef, IMO, this is an ideal light set-up for a 36" long tank.

    I can't provide pics right now. My camera was stolen when we were on vacation and it hasn't been replaced yet. Sorry. Everything is in exellent working order.It really stinks not being able to post pics.
