Pretty sure on another post, BangGuy stated using URI bulbs on a Icecap 660 ballast for VHO's, they can last up to 24 months before they will require a change. If anyone has other info, please correct me.

I keep mine in low/medium current under 300w of VHO. It also did well under PC lights before i switched.

I run 2- URI 50/50 and 2-URI actinc. The 50/50s are a nice white. I heard the 10k bulbs are supposed to be the pinkish looking ones, sure you don't have 10ks?.

Anyone willing to share some pics of there VHO lit tanks? A few weeks ago i switched from PC to VHO and really like the change! Just wanted to see some other tanks with similar lighting as mine.

I really think you are limited to what you can add. You have VERY aggressive tennents and pretty much whatever you add will be beat up on at first. Maybe you can try a strawberry baslet or something on that order. If i were you, i'd ditch the damsels and the clown all together and try some less...

I think your lighting is fine for the corals you are planning for. Also, the addition of a smaller LMB will work fine.

I forgot to add, not sure how long your tank has bee set up, but i would not add any angel to a tank that is less than six months old. For corals, you can keep: shrooms, toadstool, candycane coral, xenia,colt coral,green star polyps, button polyps...just to name a few.

In my 38g reef i keep: 1-coral beauty 1-false perc 1-six line wrasse 1-royal gramma IMO, you could add any one or two of these to your existing set up. Do you have any pics of your tank?
