    anenome switch

I don't think any of those anemones meantioned would survive with only 130wts of power compacts. I would recommend staying with the anemone that you have, it's obviously very happy in your setup :) Graham

    anenome choice

No anemone is truly "easy-to-keep." But, the most success comes from the bubble tip (Entacmaea quadricolor). I received a 2-3" bubble tip from my LFS around 3-4 months ago. About 3 weeks ago, it was over 13" in diameter and took up a quarter of the tank. 2 weeks ago it split- I now have 2x 6"...

    OT-Aquarium Magazines

I'm suscribed to FAMA (freshwater and marine aquarium), Aquarium Fish magazine, and Marine and Reef (Annual). Click on image to order. FAMA Magazine Most of these can be found in a LFS of a Larger Book Store or Magazine shop. The only magazine that I would caution you about would be Marine...

    10 gallon 6 pack

Very nice tank! I see you have quite a few Cladocora sp. in your tank. Have you placed all of these in the tank, or has the original colony spawned, creating many new corals? Graham

    Lighting Advice Needed..........

What are you planning on keeping? One 250wt halide or one 400wt halide should be fine for that tank. Each bulb should illuminate around 24" of space. Graham

    Blue Montipora cap. ?

It could be xoolanthae growth spur, cuz of a light change??? I've found that this can be true with anemones, some species of soft corals, and some encrusting species of Montipora (including M. denae and M. verrucosa). But, I doubt this is the reason for the fact that only 175wts of metal...

    Tangs in 20l

I would highly recommend not purchasing any tang for such a small tank. Inlcuding the rocks and corals, the tank has less than 20 gallons of swimming space. Why should we keep a fish under anything but the best? Is it just becuase we wish to keep them in something that fits us, the reefkeeper...

    Tree Corals

Is there any way you could tell us what genus of tree coral you're looking for? As far as other websites comes, saltwaterfish.com doesn't allow any links to other online vendors. So, the best thing I could tell you would be to look around your LFS for some healthy, easy-to-keep, specimins. Graham

    Damels first?

Are the damsels going to be used to cycle the tank, or are they simply going to be added after the cycle has completed? If they are for cycling, I would recommend instead, using raw cocktail shrimp (As stated above) for cycling your tank. I find cycling a tank with damsels is cruel and can often...

What do you feed your Rose?

How big is the anemone? I've had a green E. quadricolor recently split. When I first recieved it at the size of 3", it ate nothing other than krill. As it grew to about 6", it started excepting silversides and lancefish. If the other foods you're feeding are not triggering the nematocysts, then...

    dkh and alk

As stated above, both your calcium and alkalinity (dKH) seem fine. Strong amounts of current seem to help in the spreading of coralline; coralline can easily release spores into the aquarium, and with the current, it will be spread throughout the tank. I've also found that SeaChem's sugar based...
