    Elegance Coral Placement

Anywhere would be fine, as long as the coral is facing upwards rather than on its side. Evedently, they won't survive if placed on their side. Also make sure to give it proper amounts of current and lighting. Graham

    Clams keep falling over

All of those clams you've pictured are rock boring clams, and they shouldn't be placed directly ontop of the sandbed. You would be best off placing them high up on the rockwork, where they will be able to receive ample amounts of lighting. T. crocea the strongest byssal gland of the tridacna...

    120g

I'm sure you could put hundreds of tangs in a 120 gallon. But, as Squidd stated, many would be extremely stressed due to the lack of space. I would personally aim for 2 tangs in a 120 gallon tank, depending upon the demensions and species of tang. Graham

The most colorful fish, in my opinion, would be the Blue tang (P. hepatus). Graham

    Happy as a clam

    T. gigas and H. hippopus are two clams that will often thrive under VHO and power compacts. H. hippopus is highly sensitive to any sudden changes in salinity or pH, so it's recommended that the hippopus is kept under only the best conditions. T. gigas is one of the bigest of the tridacna clams...

    Happy as a clam

I agree with Bang, if it's growing it should be fine. Poor mantel extention, to extent where the mantel is almost completely withdrawn, may be taken as a sign of stress. Graham

    Clams on Florida Live Rock

    Some Advice Please?

The best aclamation process, in my opinion, would be to start out the halides 2 hours a day. Add 30 minutes every 2-3 days, depending how the corals react, until you get to your normal lighting period (usually 8-10 hours). Adding an hour at a time can often shock the corals, therefore it would...

    Some Advice Please?

I would like to get some SPS coral, nothing to difficult, Most SPS corals are considered difficult to keep :) As far as lighting goes, I would always recommend halides for keeping SPS (and tridacna clams). If it's impossible to install metal halides into your existing hood, I would recommend...
