    What to do with 29G

You could take a look at my tank thread in the nano section......I had more or less the exact same thing happen except I took my cichlids back to the store for credit because they were outgrowing my tank. There are a ton of options for you if you want to do a reef tank or fish only. 29 gallons...

    Mandarin Dragonet

I have trained my mandarin to eat in the one dead spot in the tank. I put the squirter down there and now he know that it means food. He will not swim after food in the water column ever but he eats like a pig everytime I feed the tank. The food just has to be on the sand or right by him......I...

How long for a juvi cowfish to grow horns?

I am honestly telling you that it is inaccurate. You cannot have a fish that big in a 55 gallon. I wish they would update it. It is cool that your dad has room for him though. Hopefully the move doesn't stress him and cause him to release the toxins into your dad's tank....... I don't mean to be...

    who goes sandless?

Honestly I think that was bad advice. If you have bad tank maintenace you are going to have algae problems either way. It is much more beneficial IMO and IME to have sand than not. For instance, many types of fish and inverts need sand to survive because they have to dig so this will limit...

How long for a juvi cowfish to grow horns?

In your profile, I says you have a 29 gallon tank. If that is correct this may have been a bad choice of fish. They can get up to a foot and a half. And if they die the toxin they have can kill everything in the tank especially in one that small. If that is not accurate, make sure that there are...

    hlcroghan's 29 gallon thread......

OK so my anemone did that pooping thing last night....freaked me out at first but then I was uber thankful that I had read about it so many times here or I prolly would have ripped it out of the tank thinking it was dying....lol. Luckily by about midnight last night it had started to poof up...
