Going from PC's to LED's should I acclimate the coral?

Okay so here is the verdict. Aqua Illuminations says that the blue lighting can do as much damage to coral as the whites. They, for obvious reasons do not want to tell me exactly what % to put my lighting at but just recommend to watch them daily. Browning they said to increase, bleaching...

    LED in question??

I think they are harping on small facts. LED's produce "NO HEAT". No obviously not true. They produce SOME heat. Not like a metal Halide. A lot cooler than most lights. But produce some heat obviously. "Last forever" all I say about that is, NOTHING lasts forever. As for what is your...

1 Snapple. I appreciate all of your help with this. Do you say any blue % I like because the blue lighting cannot hurt the coral? So the "acclimation" is more for the intensity of the white lighting? Is that what you are saying? because that was my initial thought.

The sol Blues allow you more color variations. They are also considered stronger by Aqua Illumination. If I were to get the first series I would have needed 4 Units rather than just the 2 I got. Anyway I desire the "blue look". The royal blue puts out some intense colors.

I think 75% for my whites might be too intense. Don't ya think? My coral were under PC's. They are the weakest lights out there for coral.

Question about my coral and new LED lighting

Spanko: I had PC's before. It was a 48" fixture. Do the blue lights have a factor? Can they damage coral or is it more the white lights? The whites are only at 50% right now. The blues are at about 70%. Can the blues damage coral? I guess that it my main question. Sparty059: I...
