    haha. My iea of the hobby is to sit back and enjoy it rather than obsese over what you are gonna buy next, that is why there is not a whole lotta coral. Just my spin on it.

    Starfish don't mate so that is not the reason. Maybe something in the sand is really bothering him or like you said, he is lazy and doesn't feel like eating.

    the only question i can answer right now is the crushed coral substrate one. Crushed coral is actually the best and most benificial substrate. It controls pH like nothing else. Great stuff!

    I was wondering if it is a good idea to put dwarf seahorses in a pico tank. I heard of some guy using his pico strictly for dwarf seahorses and it is working out for him. Any ideas?

    yeah, if you put it to close to the lights the coral will burn. Luckly it hasn't lost hope yet unless you see any black on it.

    that sucks, hopefully someone on SWF can help you. i actually don't know any options, my fish had never had this happen. Tell me how it turns out. But i would agree to quarantine.

    That will give you exactly 6.56 watts per gallon. ill ale you to keep most sps and lps corals but if you were at 8 watts per gallon, that would be ideal. With this setup you should be able to keep pretty much anything. good luck!
