    small/medium fishes for a tall tank?

    lionfishes are very suited to that as they tend to hover but be careful about breed as some get too big for that. Banggai cardinals would do well. Stay away from tangs and angels as they usually need more length. A flamehawk would be nice. they perch on the rockwork alot.

    Depends on the size of the anemone and if you have a cuc, it could take a matter of any hours or so and it could be completely gone......look for a white skeleton......that may be left.

    Pipefish and seahorses have special needs....unless you are going to devote the tank to them, you will need to return that. If it lived in the river it is probably brackish to freshwater anyway and the sg is too high in a slatwater tank for it.
