I believe its nitrogen gases being released from the breakdown of nitrates. I have those bubbles also. :notsure:

Levels look good. Glad to hear everything made it. Good luck If your going to keep corals i suggest you start testing for calcium and magnesium.

IMO i would dish out the extra bucks and get the best tests from Salifert. Especially if your going to be in this hobby for a long time. Easy to use and very accurate.

The rock isnt all that big. Its a small frag but with alot of polyps on it. I like the colors. Im not crazy about ordering livestock online. I generally like to see what im buying. I do get a discount at this LFS. Maybe i can talk em down a bit. Thanks for help tho.

$60 for a rock with about 30-40 zoo polyps on it? My LFS which i trust and has great quality livestock has a couple of these up for grabs. Orange, green and blue each on their own rock. Im thinking $60 is a lil steep. What do you think?

They have everything there. Good prices. Decent selection of fish. Staff is knowledgable. They have both cured and uncured. When i bought my rock from there i got a 50lb box of uncured. They have a big tank filled with rock tho.
