    new picts of 125

Thanks for the replies. I am currently overseas so my Better half is taking care of the tank. Sounds like everything is adjusting really good to the new aquascape. It always seems like the tank really takes off when I am gone and not messing with it.

The purple tang looks really small. He is actually the size of the palm of my hand and the finger leather is about a foot and half long and a foot wide.

I added a couple pieces of aragocrete rock to beef up my aquascape. I also removed my magnum 350 a couple months ago. The only external filtration that I have now is my seaclone 150.

I am very new, and have a few questions help appreciated

I would do a whole lot of reading before you decide on a DSB. They are usefull for tanks with very heavy bioloads but in my opinion way over rated fo the typicaly stocked tank. I prefer a SB of about 2 inches for a nice look and a good amount of live rock with lots of swimming room. If you do...

do they have wet dry filters hat hang on the back

For hang on filters the Emporer 400 is about the best wet dry there is. You really need to throw in some periods and capital letters so people can understand what you are saying.

    The shrimp thing

Live rock has beneficial bacteria from day one and after the initial die off, the live rock will still produce ammonia to keep the beneficial bacteria alive. The only reason why rotting shrimp produces an ammonia spike is because it overloads the existing population of beneficial bacteria...

    The shrimp thing

Do you have any live rock inside the tank. If you do then the live rock will supply it's own supply of ammonia from little critters that die off continually. If you have live rock then the shrimp method is overkill.

    Parasites on my clown?

I can't believe you Lopey. You have totally ignored every piece of advice given to you. You were advised to start a quarantine tank which you didn't. Advised numurous times to get rid of the tang. But it is your favorite so that of course means to keep it. I could go on and on. I will...

    close up of corals

I have never really had a temp issue since in the winter it gets darn cold and the house usually stays aroud 68 degrees and in the summer the sun is so high up in the sky that the tank barely gets any. In the winter I actually run a fan to try and blow some of the hot air out of the canopy into...
