i just set up 2 of them on my sump, using the maxi jet 400, put carbon in one and phosban in the other, its just as you say, piggy back, from the pump to the inlet then from the outlet to the other inlet an so on an so on, till the last one goes back into the tank.....works great i love it.....

water is normal to come out of the top tube, and the skimmer wont do much the first couple days, on my g3 took about a week before it really start pulling gunk out, now it does it like a champ

hey i was talkin to wattsupdoc the other day an he brought up a good point, using a gfi receptacle while is great if something fails, also is bad if it fails and you arnt around to remedy the situation, so if your out for the whole day or for 2 days, what if the gfi trips now ALL your equipment...

got mine today there almost all open, they where cold lol, damn this winter weather of course when i want coral we get hit with a snow storm lol, but everyything looks good so far!! cant wait for them to get all comfy in there new home an really open up an show off there colors!
