Hmm.... gime some more info... what size tank (need dementions) and what is the max you are willing to spend on this.... also are you willing to make you own canopy or are you looking for a full lighting setup. if you can DIY it... it will be cheaper

I've done the blue/greens before and I agree with msd2... they are not the smartest fish in my tank... I started with 5 now all I have is 2.... 3 of them were bullied into my Green BTA by my tomato clown! I only have the 2 largest ones and can't wait for them to die!!!! :thinking: A cool...

Acro/monti's/stylo... there are many. any small Pylop stony would give you trouble.

my fav small fish is a six line wrasse... or as I call him.... the six lined ass :eek: lol with the PC you will be able to keep softie and some LPS... but I doubt and SPS.

take a look at the DIY section of this forum. I think there are a few ideas there. but skinny is that you will need to get some plexi-glass and some silicon/weld-on and your going to divide the tank into two parts... you filtration/equipment area and the your return.

just like Protein skimmer... sumps are not needed.... but make life a lot easier!! a sump does the folloing for you: keeps the water level stable in the Display tank (DT) give you a place to hide all of you equipment... heater/skimmer/dosers.... give you a place to dose thing like CA/alk with...

just my $.02.... that 4-5 watts/g.... put it in the trash! if you going with MH now you have to look at the demetions of the tank you will need 1mh for every 2sqaure feet... so if you tank is 4' long then you will need to MH's so... now you want to try and figure out what watt MH you want. again...

... well I know it the wild... when they do this it's because they want to move. they blow themselves you and then let the current take them away. they also do this to get sand off of them.... hope this helps
