I run the blue LED's all night long. I turn the white on with the blue at about 9am, at 12 noon the MH comes on and the LED's go off. The MH stays on till 11pm and then both LED's are back on. The white goes off at 1am. In the beginning I did not run the lights as much trying to avoid a huge...

Sounds like you are off to a good start Greenreefer! Get some 1/2 tubing and you can get rid of that nasty L connector and have a nice smooth bend.

I would only do 1 Turbo. I have an Aquapod 24 and the Turbo is the bulldozer and probably going back to the LFS very soon. Four Astreas is good I really like mine. Maybe only 2 Nassarius snails. I too used to run Instant Ocean with no problems. It does seem that it does not have enough calcium...

Well I put the rock in FW for 15 minutes. Lots of die off of course. Did not see the worm. Looked like a small brittle star. Red in color.

That is just a small fraction of how big he is. Has not come all the way out of the rock. He is eating detritus, but I think it may be to big to keep in a 24 gallon Aquapod. The last thing I want is it harming corals or fish.

I saw this guy coming out of a rock tonight when the lunar LED lights came on. He is red with white bristles. Here is a pic, sorry for the quality but it is as good as I can get with the LED lights on. Any bright light and the worm is right back in the rock. If this guy is bad, how do I get rid...

Well I got 4 Astrea snails and one Turbo. Also got a purple firefish which I have only seen him once after he went in. He came out just barely from his cave to grab a couple copapods. I also have a green and red zoas.. More pics to come soon!
