I have the same issue my larger Occelaris.. Amm - 0 Nitrite - 0 Nitrate - 5 Ph - 8.2 Cal - 400 Phos - 0 SG - 1.026 I have had the clown for about 3 weeks. Was eating very well. Still eating some, but mouth open all the time.

Yes they are so fun to watch. Both clowns are now hosting the coral.

The hammer closes up at night and the clown stays on it. During the day and while the MH lights are on the hammer stays open all the way. Doesn't seem to mind the clowns at all. It took about a week for them to take to it. The larger clown took a nose dive into a torch coral right after being...

Here you can see the Hydor-Flo that I put on in place of the Y lock connector. It gives the tank a lot of flow. I swapped out the stock pump for a Maxi-Jet 1200. I also ran 1/2 tubing off the MJ 1200 with a plastic hose clamp and right into the outlet where the L connector plugs in. This gives...

You really need the MH to keep lots of stuff healthy and growing. Go talk to some of your LFS, most if not all of them will probably sell you RODI water. Probably in fresh or saltwater if you want to mix your own water or buy it already made up. Some of the stores I go to offer water cards so...
