    Bully cleaner shrimp??

    Ok, do I have a bully cleaner shrimp, or is this normal? First off, he is a pig! I feed him with a turkey baster and he just sits at the tip of it and pulls out all the food. Which that's fine...but after he is fed, I will turn off my powerheads to feed the corals...and I'll blow a little food...

    AHHH!!! Think I have a flatworm!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7zp5okxrPa0 There's a short video. It gets on the glass around 21 seconds and you can see it a little better than when it's on the sand. I looked up Acoel...and it doesn't look like those...it's not brownish...it's clear...with a small darker looking 'belly' or...

    AHHH!!! Think I have a flatworm!

    Ok, I saw a clear looking worm looking thing...it was pretty 'flat'...it had a roundish head, the body had something a little darker in the middle...like where the belly is...and then the end of it had two points. Is that a flatworm? I have read that flatworms are bad! What should I do???

    See, I wasn't so sure it was an Acan...but I have posted pictures of it on here before and was reassured that it was an acan. Thanks for the thoughts.

    Acan and waterflow. Video

    Is my Acan Lord getting too much flow? You can kinda see it move up when it gets a blast of flow. Would this flow be considered low to medium or medium to high? I'm still a little uncertain about water flow and corals. Thanks! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mft1nRYZpTE

    ~~~help~~~ white moving spot/thing on the glass
    "Clowns are not eating and breath fast" Might want to check your water parameters. Give us an update once you've done that with what they are. But yes, spanko is right, enjoy the moving white spots. Those aren't the reason for your clowns not eating and breathing fast.
    ID for 3 different algae types in my tank.
    Is that what both of them are? Pictures 3 through 6? In the tank, the pictures 3 and 4 look very 'free flowing'. They sway back and forth with the water movement. There are many of them all steaming from one section. The pictures 5 and 6 are of one branch. It is stiff looking, it doesn't sway...
    ID on this critter please
    Looked in the back of the tank today and found this guy floating on top. It has a worm like body with lots! of long 'legs' that move in and out and around. (looked like it was using them to get food...because it wasn't really moving from the spot it was in...so I don't think it was moving them...
    alkalinity
    And I guess this is as good a place as any to ask about something my LFS has been wanting me to try... It's called Reef Fusion (2 part system) and it is by Seachem. He says it will help balance and maintain calcium and alkalinity. (though my calcium seems to be fine without dosing). What are the...
    Ratios of Cleaners to Food to Copepods to Mandarin Goby
    So pods eat microalgae... What if the microalgae is in the fuge area of the tank...what happens to the pods that go into the DT? Do they eventually die because there is no algae in the DT?
    Strawberry Pseudochromis sick--I think ?
    Some of the first things people will want to know: What are your water parameters? How long have you had the SP? Did you quarantine your fish when you got them? If so, for how long before you added them to your tank? How far apart were your additions to the tank? And in what order did they...
    Got two corals today. Can anyone tell me more?
    Hello, I decided to dive into the world of corals today. Finally. I got frogspawn, which I have wanted for a while and he finally had some small enough...and not as expensive as the ones he had from Australia. I also got what he called an Acan. I'm a little confused...he had some there that he...
    Nitrates wont go down!!!!
    Have you tested your water recently with your LFS? My nitrates wouldn't go down either, with purigen and chemipure. Turns out my test was bad. LFS guy said that the nitrate test in my kit is known to go bad. Just might want to double check it with someone. Good luck
