Dudebhave you tried laying on top of the engine running your hand down the firewall. and there should be 2 at the top of the bell housing. You will need an open end wrench to get them. Unless you get lucky. I have done that job many many times before. Every so offten you just got to walk away...

lol and I just caught the shrmp idea. Dont do it it a bad idea. The shrimp will do its job and try the clean the fish but will make the infection worse by aggravating it.

and now I answered Joes question. I will answer the OP's. As far a shrimp I have used this method many times. Add 1-2 and test your water if you think you need more add more. If you need less its a dead shrimp not like its hard to catch. REMOVE IT easy as pie
