Hypo treatment has begun today. Set up QT tank and have all my little fishies in there. Pray for me that I do this right and they all survive!

You could use your DT water even though it has Ick in it if you are going to HYPo the QT. THe ick will die when you slowly lower the level in there anyway. Unless you were not planning on hypoing the QT and only using it as a QT.

What is the proper way to add this to your tank? THe instructions say to add one scoop per 10 gals, do you just drop it in the tank? Or do you pre disolve it and then add? Wasn't sure if it was ok to have all this white stuff floating around.

My last one died. I think the pet store guy hurt it removing it from a rock. This one is thriving though.
