    Peppermint shrimp questions

i've used both methods...i actually like the peppermints better cuz u just toss them in the tank and let them do their thing..aiptasia x has to be targeted one by one..and if not done correctly they can return..

    Is this enough lighting?

If want to change bulbs. In a of fixture watts have to match with yr ballast or the old bulb. Wat u can change is yr kelvin rating which is the colorntemp of the bulb. I'm actually suprised u kept an anemone happy with that light. I guess zoa and shroom would be fine.

    Tank temp >80.

I wouldn't advise over 80 but if some already had a tank over 80 and didn't want to use a chiller then I would say it fine just as long it doesn't jump from 78 to 84 and back doown to 78 all in one day. Keeping temp stable is more important. JMO.

Getting set up - need polyp ID

I've already had a few beers and still can't tell wats in the pics. Can u take pics afterthe yank clears up. If I had to guess it would be flame zoa. IMO IDing all these zoa and palys are just nonsense. Just a way to jack up prices. They all require about the care anyways.

    Peppermint shrimp questions

I got three for my 90g and they took care of all the aiptasia in a couple days. I noticedbthey don't touch it if it to big. For some reason they start to die off one by one after they eat all the aiptasia. I guess cuz they end up starving. They got along with my inverts which is a fire shrimp...
