Nice idea but not the first to do it. It keeps the fish from jumpn out but also defuses the light. I guess that's why it's found in the lightin section at Home Depor under light defuser. It's a great product with many uses.

I will just as long no one gets him first. But I agree not as bright and red as the other one.

I will be able to order it on Friday so hopen its still there. The other redfin lasted about a month before someone bought it.

okay I've been wanting this fish for a while now and one just came up for sale. Perfect size at 2"1/2. My question would be do they change colors like other scorps. Or do they stay red. I'm askin cuz price difference from a redfin and a regular brown waspfish is about $50

My scopas tang and foxface are pretty good at keeping algae in check.

I have a 5g HOB fuge on my 35g scorp tank. Thinking of adding more flow. U guys think a koralia nano would work or just upgrade the pump. Sorry for the thread jack. The fuge is 24"x5"x12". I have chesto in there and it's not tumbling like it suppose to.

I actually don't feed most of my corals. Just a few of the lps pe mysis once or twice a week. This pic was about an hour after feeding my fish. I run my skimmer 24/7. 7 days a week.

also forgot to list type of skimmer im using..its a AquaC EV-120 with a mag(externally install). 5 pump..i also have some filter sponges before the skimmer pump..

i guess this thread is useless without the pics...

heres wat a couple days of skimming looks like...my skimmer is not even set up for optimal performance as the skimmer pump and output water is in the same chamber of my sump...i also run my skimmer very dry..i've also included pic after i cleaned my cup ready to skim again...ppl who are not...

i've been using my unit with the same filters for a year and still not as bad as urs...although my DI has changed colors so i need to replace that..im just gonna replace all the filters at once...

were u testing ur water when u had live rock in there for a week..cycle might of already started or even done before u added the sand..test the water and post the numbers....

do they look anything like this...its a very old pic..over a year ago..the other pic is wat the look like now..
