Ok I'm going to play around with a 20 gallon tank before we setup up our 180.I have a Red SEA prizm skimmer,170gph powerhead not sure what filter to get yet also need 35 pounds of live sand and some lr. If Im missing something give me some ideas.

Looking good would like to see some pic of your fish if you have any.I'm making a wish list for my tank so when I get it up I get all fish that can live together and won't out grow my tank.

Look at the rim of the tank where the lid goes on a snake tank it's only about a 1/8 on a fish tank it's a little bit bigger
